Been together for a while? Love life buried under piles and piles of “reality”: kids, work, schedules and more schedules? Don’t see any way out?
You’re not alone. It’s the common plight of the modern couple. I see it all the time with my clients. It’s a scary place to be. That “loving feeling” feels gone, gone, gone and you’re afraid you’ll never get it back.
Don’t give up. You don’t have to settle for a dismal desert of love if you’re willing to make time for PLAY TIME the Feng Shui Way.
First, are you ready to PLAY?
Ask yourself the following questions:
Past: Was there a time when you couldn’t keep your hands off each other?
Lust: Do you both really, really want that old passion feeling back?
Action: Are you both ready to make changes to get it back?
Yes: Are your answers Yes, Yes, and Hell, Yes? Then, YES, you can have it back!
So you do want to PLAY! Now get ready to do the TIME.
Take stock:
• Stand in your bedroom door and look in. The far right corner is your love area. What’s there?
• What pictures do you have on the walls and dressers?
Initiate change
• Make sure the love area is uncluttered. Get rid of any “stuff.”
• If the bathroom is in that corner keep the door closed.
• Add items of love: pairs of love birds, pink roses, mauve sheets.
• Remove pictures that aren’t happy ones of you and yours. Pics of the kids, pets or “grands” out. The bedroom is for loving couples only!
Make the time
Commit to weekly “love time.” Just the two of you. Always include three elements: food, activity and contact. (And no cheating: the activity and the contact are two separate things.) Try a picnic with a walk holding hands or a movie with dinner and a good night kiss. Of course, if the mood is right, you don’t have to stop there.
Enjoy the process:
The most important step. Smiles and laughter, giggles and groans are the real aphrodisiacs.
Loving isn’t about being the world’s greatest lovers; loving is about being truly connected; lovemaking is the glue that helps keep always lovers together. And the loving never has to stop if you make time for Feng Shui PLAY TIME.

I enjoy your site very much, but I hope you can help me with a problem that has been going on for sometime. About five years ago we bought a beautiful bedroom set, Ethan Allen, dressers, matching nitestands, lamps lots of furniture, the only thing the bed is a California King my husband loves it he’s a big man, and I’m a small woman. I was so impressed that we got such a good deal, Ethan Allen quality… but now I’m not so sure. At first the bed didn’t bother me, now almost five years later I don’t sleep in there very much, mostly in my daughter’s room. Also he has fans going all the time. Is there any cure for the california king? Also the woman we bought it from didn’t sleep in it either, I think she said her husband was sick I don’t know if he died in it or not, sorry it sounds so creepy. You just never know what you can get when you buy second hand, is it possible there is still negative energy after all this time? Thanks for reading this any help would be appreciated .

Whew…there are a lot of layers in your situation. Let’s go step by step -
First – the California king. Yes I’m not a fan of them but sometimes human size requires bigger bed size. Most kings are made from two separate box springs covered with one mattress which can cause even more separation between partners. Try getting a red cloth the 36″ wide by the width of the mattress and put it in between the box spring and the mattress. When you do that, put your intention into it that the high vibration energy or ch’i of the red and the connection of one piece will pull the two people together.
Next – the fans. If they’re ceiling fans they are cutting ch’i. Best way to protect yourself is to use a 50mm crystal
and hang it from the bottom of the fan with a red ribbon or cord 9″ or 18″ long (the crystal doesn’t have to hang that low…just make sure it’s secure). Again put your intention into it that you’re creating a energy shield between the bed and the fan. You can use this on any ceiling fan, too.
Finally, I’m sorry but you are very correct. You never know what energy getting along with used furniture, especially beds. Negative ch’i can be like bedbugs – you may not see it but it can definitely hurt you. Even if the late owner didn’t actually die in bed, he certainly was very ill in it. That type of energy can linger a long time and will begin to seep into your energy field. Remember, sometimes there’s a hidden reason for you to pass on the good deal that’s too good to pass up.
This isn’t as easy to cure. Your best option would be to replace the bed. (I’m assuming that you bought a new mattress – if not at least replace that!)
Next best option is to call in a specialist in clearing and ask to have all the furniture cleared of old sha or negative ch’i and sealed.
I send you many blessings,
Peter

Thank you Peter,
I’m off to the fabric store today, also I was looking at our bedroom, eeeks! I have a print of the “tired Lady” by Matisse over our bed, that is out of here today also.
Thanks so very much, I enjoy all the insight that you have offered,
Many hugs,
cheryl
